Dean Jeffries Award 2024

The Dean Jeffries Award for 2024 goes to someone who only joined the band very recently, but in that short time has already become one of our key players and supporting members. In fact, they are so consistent and reliable, that on the rare occasions when they have been unable to make a rehearsal, we are left confused as to why there is suddenly a silence in a spot there never has been before. But those instances are few and far between, thanks to this person’s excellent attendance and musicianship.
 
This person is also always one of the first people to acknowledge emails, bring a raffle prize, put their hand up to load the trailer, and on a few occasions, has even volunteered their partner to come help as well. The committee knows that we can always count on this band member to support our events, and always with a cheery smile that never fails to lift all of our spirits.
 
For these reasons, we are pleased to present the Dean Jeffries Award this year to Linda Su.
