    PCCB acknowledged the ongoing support and guidance given by Fay over the many years since PCCB began by awarding Life Membership of the Band to Fay at the 2024 AGM.
    Fay has always stated that she was just here to support Dean (her husband) in whatever he needed however this belittles the magnitude of the support Fay herself has provided to the band both whilst Dean was Music Direction and in the many years since.
    She has been a member of the clarinet section - learning the instrument just because we needed more clarinettists in the band, she set up the original band library and continued for many years as librarian, she held various other committee roles where there were gaps that needed filling, and supported the MD (her husband Dean) in all his endeavours with the band.  Over the last many years she has continued to provide guidance and support to the band and especially to the committee, in particular with remembering historical events that are buried on paper, in boxes, and hidden in cupboards and thus unknown to many of the newer band members.
    We thankyou Fay for your ongoing support of the Payneham City Concert Band.
